The 2022 Jeep Renegade will offer a great variety of basic equipment as well as and options for technological features. Standard features will include a 7-inch touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth access, and a 6-speaker stereo system. Optional features will include an 8.4-inch touchscreen, a nine-speaker Alpine audio system, satellite radio, navigation, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. Satellite radio may be subject to a subscription service after a free trial period. The WiFi hotspot may also require a subscription after six months - one year of complimentary service.
Safety and driver-assistance features will also be available on the Renegade. Standard safety features will include blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and a rearview camera. Optional features will include cruise control that adapts to the environment, forward-collision warning, and lane-keeping assist.
The Renegade will be powered by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 180 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. A nine-speed automatic transmission will be standard, and front-wheel drive will be standard.
