On top of being huge, handsome and efficient, the Chrysler Pacifica is also among the safest group-oriented and family minivans on the market. How do we know? Our Dick Poe Chrysler Jeep team has test-driven it countless times over all kinds of roads throughout El Paso. We love the entire suite of safety features, but we selected the following as highlights.
Bringing Up Your Rear
No other ride watches your caboose quite like the Chrysler Pacifica. It has special sensors that can detect vehicles attempting to cross your path behind you. Called the Rear Cross Path Detection feature, it activates when you shift into Reverse. If it detects a vehicle about to cross your path behind you, you receive an alert. This helps you back out of tight, low-visibility parking space in a more confident, timely manner.
Monitoring Your Blind Spots
The Chrysler Pacifica actively and continuously monitors both of your blind spots. Using special rear-mounted sensors, it detects vehicles that enter your blind spots, flashing a warning icon in the related sideview mirror.
