Chrysler Pacifica, the family carrier that sets the standard, has a few changes and upgrades for the 2025 model year for drivers in El Paso. Most notable is a slimming down of the trims offered, down from five to three. The Select and Pinnacle trims are available as PHEVs, while the Limited is gas only.
New on the Select Trim
The base model Pacifica gets quite a few upgrades. A universal garage door opener is now standard, so you can never lose yours in the fray of carting kids around to practice around Socorro. Premium carpets are also standard because a vehicle you will spend a lot of time in should feel more like home. An auto-dimming review mirror is also standard now. Second-row one-touch windows are standard as well, hopefully removing the constant fidgeting to get it to the perfect amount of open for second-row passengers.
S Appearance Package
Minivans can be cool. The S Appearance Package is now a standard feature on the Limited trim and available on Select trims. The package comes with dark exterior trim, badges, and wheels. Inside is black upholstery with gray stitching. The perfect combination for a cool dad trying to maintain their street cred in Las Cruces, NM, or to match the energy of angsty teens piled into a Pacifica.
Drivetrain
The Pacifica PHEV has a 3.6-liter engine and two electric motors backed by a 16-kWh battery pack. The system produced 260 horsepower, plenty for a minivan in Horizon City. The PHEV is front-wheel drive only. With the ability to drive 33 miles on electric-only power, the Pacifica PHEV is rated at 84 MPGe by the EPA.
